I've cared for children since I was 10, when I started watching my brother who is five years younger than I am. Since then I have had multiple jobs caring for children. When I was 15 I started babysitting more seriously with a daily summer job caring for two little boys ages 3 and 7 and that continued for two consecutive summers. I also have volunteered to work in the nursery and children's church Journey which consists of supervising 4-15 kids. I have held, with help of friends, parents night out at the Journey as well, which consisted of three of us watching over 15-25 children ages less than a year through 9 years old. All of these combined with Saturday Date Night babysitting for couples and friends lead me to having quite a bit of experience and know-how. I love children, I feel they bring such joy into our lives and I love to step into their world and explore the world with them. Having been in theatre for 7 years I have learned about imagination and I love cultivating and encouraging the endless imagination children have. I love how children look at the world and how innately good they are. Watching a child is a privilege and I love to brighten their day as they do mine.
