I have taken care of children for the last 15 years. In high school I babysat children around my neighborhood. Now I have two children of my own and have worked at a local daycare. I have training in medical assisting and worked for a pediatrician. I am passionate about kids because I feel that some children don't receive the kind of attention and involvement in everyday society anymore. Daycares are so overloaded that kids don't receive one-on-one time with a teacher/caregiver. I think that this time is critical in a child's life. I personally have been able to be involved in my kids lives a lot. I would like to continue that and be an influence with other children too. To be personally involved with one family is highly positive and find it to not only be beneficial for them, but also for me.
