I am currently a Junior at Marymount Manhattan College studying Communication Arts. I have been babysitting for roughly the past 5 years. I have a 9-year-old sister, so I have a lot of experience specifically with children because we have a 12 year age difference. Caring for her while my parents were working was a responsibility of mine all through high school. I have worked with children that range from newborn babies to teenagers.

Prior to my move to New York, I had regular babysitting jobs on a weekly basis. One of my more frequent jobs was caring for a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old. They are brothers and I have been babysitting them both frequently since birth. Another is a 5-year-old girl. Her mom was a school teacher, so I would watch her for long periods of time while her parents were both working.

I thoroughly enjoy working with children. I find that being a babysitter allows you to truly inspire a child and work with them to grow into beautiful people.
