“ I babysat my mother's friend's children, 3 and 4-year-old boys for 1 year. I am the oldest of 5 children. My youngest sister is 6 years old, the two middle boys are 9 and 12, and the oldest boy is 17. In 2010, I worked in a summer camp, where I assisted with children 4 and 8-years-old. I have assisted children with homework, served food and snacks to children, and assisted children in indoor and outdoor activities....

I babysat my mother's friend's children, 3 and 4-year-old boys for 1 year. I am the oldest of 5 children. My youngest sister is 6 years old, the two middle boys are 9 and 12, and the oldest boy is 17. In 2010, I worked in a summer camp, where I assisted with children 4 and 8-years-old. I have assisted children with homework, served food and snacks to children, and assisted children in indoor and outdoor activities. In high school, I was an active member of the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) so I have sufficient knowledge of CPR and I've had First Aid training. I have also volunteered in the Red Cross Drive, where I had my first encounter with an unconscious person. I had to learn to stay calm, be patient, and use proper precautions. I love taking care of children. I am a student at Temple University, with a major in Biochemistry. I am working my way to medical school, to become a pediatrician. I am passionate about working with kids because I believe that kids are full of innocence and love. They are easy to work with, and understand. They are also energetic and never boring. :) I speak 4 languages, including English, so I can also tutor if needed.
