I have both natural and paid experience as a childcare provider. Growing up in a family of four, I have grown up caring for children. It was through my growing up experience in a home school family that taught me valuable skills such as cooking, cleaning, and childcare. Two years ago, I began providing childcare and tutoring to a 8-year-old girl. My duties included transportation to extracurricular activities, preparing and serving meals, taking her out into the community, assisting with homework, and following a bedtime routine. I specifically tutored her in math. I also have provided babysitting to my sister's three stepchildren, ages 8, 11, and 13. Duties included providing dinner, playtime, and bedtime routine.
I believe in spending quality time with children- TV and computers are not babysitters!
I am working on my Associate's degree in Biotechnology and hope to transfer to a University in the future. I have a high school diploma.
Outside of childcare, I enjoy cooking and spending time outside.
