My name is Mallory and childcare has always been one of my greatest areas of interest and experience. Over the past 10 years, and have nannied for children from ages newborn-12. Also, I have taught theatre and art to children from second to twelfth grade. Included in my experience were kids with Aspergers Syndrome and other learning/social needs. I am open to many lifestyles and beliefs and will strive to give your child nothing less than the best care while you're away. Since 2000, I have been the secondary caregiver to my sister with Asperger's Syndrome. She is intelligent and creative, but has required a lot of patience and creative structure to teach her social understanding. From 2003-2007, I nannied for 3 tri-lingual children ages 3-10. Our activities were active and creative: we painted, put on productions, sang, taught each other languages, etc. Also throughout this time period I watched my cousin's newborn a few hours a week. From 2007-2011, I taught children grades 1-12 theatre, music, crafts, and art at various camps and theatre schools, their abilities and learning styles were incredibly varying and unique. From August 2011 until March 2012, I nannied for an 18-month-old boy until recently moving. We worked on cognitive skills, motor skills, potty training, as well as working with musical instruments and different artistic mediums. I absolutely love children, and I hope to bring an artistic yet stable environment to your home and lives. I am willing to work with all types of people, belief systems, and I only give the absolute best to any children I meet and grow to love.
