I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with my degree in Elementary Education. My major within that field is Integrated Sciences and my Minor is Early Childhood Education. I have a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a ZA endorsement upon completion at EMU. My Early Childhood classes required two semesters of practicum experience in a classroom at the Lab School on campus, which I have completed. I was a long term childcare provider for one family for 7 years, stopping only because the children outgrew me! There were several other families in my hometown that I babysat and nannied for before starting college. I also volunteered in my Church Nursery many times. I also was hired as a summer camp counselor in the summer of 2009 and learned a great deal there.
