I have been providing care for children for about three official years now, although I have been helping out with kids since I was about 10. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am very familiar with children with type 1 diabetes. My mom was the director at Gales Greek Camp for children with diabetes for 30 years and I have grown up there. I also have experience in the special needs department. I volunteered at Orenco Elementary in 2008 for about three months in the special ed class rooms. The last two years I have also worked in the preschool/summer camp through Hillsboro Parks and Recreation.
