Hello! My name is Madeleine. I am an experienced, responsible, and fun-loving nanny, and have cared for children of all different ages and experiences, from babies of 3 weeks to 18-year-old youth (teaching). I work part time at a local preschool and am currently looking for additional childcare work opportunities, as I prepare for a doctoral degree in Child Psychology, next year. In addition to babysitting, I have extensive summer camp counseling and teaching experience. Last year, I graduated from Mills College with a teaching credential and Master's in Education.
I am CPR/First Aid certified, and have some degree of experience with special needs children; I have worked with a 4-year-old with Angelman Syndrome, as well as high school students with Autism.

I approach child care work from a holistic perspective, which is child-centered, engaging, and nurturing. I enjoy getting to know individual families as well as their children, and am very open to nanny share arrangements. Providing care and support to children brings me great joy and fulfillment, and I look forward to a lifelong journey of working with children and youth.
