I am 21 years old and the oldest of three children. Throughout high school and my two years of college, I have cared for two different families on a regular/part-time basis: one family with two small children and the other with three. Duties included dropping off/picking up the kids from school each day, and getting them to soccer practices, appointments, etc. One household was that of two ER physicians, so they depended on me to be on call when they were. I taught children ages 2-12 in gymnastics from 2006 to 2009, and swimming lessons at the YMCA throughout my four years in high school. I've been a part-time/summer lifeguard since I was 16 years old (CPR and First Aid certified).
I am a Junior at the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in graphic design. I am a local painter/portrait artist and sell my art in various downtown Hattiesburg locations. I work part-time at First Baptist Church as a nursery sitter on Wednesday nights and Sundays.

I have a lot of experience with kids of all ages. I am incredibly reliable and most kids take to me pretty quickly. I am very high energy and always ready for an adventure. I think there's no greater power than a big smile and a positive attitude.
