I grew up in a large family. I am one of eight siblings. It was easy to take care of all of them at such a young age, I was the oldest. There was always so much to do. I had my children when I was in my early 20s, and that same year, I opened up a small family home day care. That way, I could remain at my home with my kids. I have been doing this for almost 34 amazing years! I have a state licensed daycare, and was featured in The News Journal. I am so proud of all I do to help families grow strong and healthy kids. My ties to the kids and the families remain strong. They somehow manage to stay in touch with me through the years. I am still working in my home, providing wonderful child care.

I am currently full, with 6 full time children in care. I am opening up the middle of my week to help out where I can, strictly after 5:30 p.m. I am willing to go into the evening. I wouldn't need much notice, which would help those families who really get stuck. I am available every other week-end, as well. Those hours could be at your discretion. I hope to save up for a new heating/air conditioner and a trip for me at the end of this year.
