I have 23 years experience caring for seniors. I started out babysitting in the mid eighties but gradually got into the in-home senior care area and found the place I belong. The elderly are our history. They remind us where we came from and show us where we are going. Every life is precious and has it's own lesson to teach. Through the care of the elderly I have learned about humility, compassion and the miracle that is the human spirit.
My last job lasted for 8 years. This is an unusual amount of time to spend on one assignment but the rewards and friendship of my client and his family have been invaluable to me. I have excellent references.


I love old movies, am interested in scrap booking and have a good voice for reading books. I enjoy writing short stories and perhaps someday a novel. Also helped my last client write a small book about his experiences in WW2. He wrote it out longhand and I typed it up, submitting edits for his approval and organizational considerations, scanned and transferred pictures on the computer to their proper places, sorted them and placed them in the story in order of occurrence. It was great fun.
