I am the oldest of 6 children and helped my mom raise our family when my dad was working. We are a home-schooled family, so we learned to work with each other and, as the oldest, a lot was expected of me. I took care of cooking, cleaning, running errands, helping with homework, or whatever my dad or mom required.

I also helped for many years at my local church in the children's department. I taught elementary grades or simply aided the teacher who was working that Sunday.

I am passionate about kids because they are the hope we have for a better future. My life long dream is to set up orphanages in other countries that teach children how to fish vs. giving them a fish. Thus helping countries to raise themselves up, one child at a time.
