I have a younger brother and sister who are twins - they are three years and three months younger than me, so I've essentially been caring for children my whole life.

In addition to this, I have taken 26 units' worth of graduate education courses in pursuit of my secondary mathematics teaching credential. Included in these courses is a child development class. I have also done two full semesters of student teaching - one at the middle school level, and one at the high school level.

I have volunteered and worked at countless day camps and activities for kids at my church. I've been a small group leader, crafts leader, and snack leader. I have formed great relationships with these kids, and was always so sad when the week or month was over.

I was a summer nanny for a 21-month-old girl one summer, and a 7-year-old boy another. In addition to this, I've babysat kids of all ages. While I don't have specific experience with younger infants, I am hoping to be a mom within the next five years and would be thrilled to be able to learn what you do to care for your child.
