Hi my name is Luisa, I am a 22 years old college student studying Bilingual Elementary Education. I love working with children of all ages. I am in my final year of college and have completed over 60 observation hours. I will be finishing my last year of college online, so I have extremely flexible hours. In the past I have been the lead children's church teacher at my local church, this was a non paid position which I held for 3 years. On average 15 kids between ages 5-12 attended each Sunday. I have also been a helper at another children's church (2 years) where approximately 50 kids (ages 3-12) attended each Sunday. As a college student I also spent a semester tutoring children (in all subjects) in a after school program (ages 7-12). I have two nephews and many cousins and neighbors that I have babysat for on an occasional basis. I have also had experience with infants. As a future teacher, I believe that children learn from a very young age and that any opportunity can be used for learning. I enjoy reading, crafting, hanging out outdoors and playing board games. I have my own car and a clean driving record (minus a personal seat belt incident). I look forward to hearing from you and seeing if I am the right match for your family.
