Children are the joys of life. I have been an aunt since I was nine and I loved the responsibilities of taking care of my nephew at such a young age. Since then my sisters continued to have babies and now I am an aunt of four wonderful "big boys" and "big girls." I not only help to raise them, but I am also an active peer tutor. I visit other schools around my area and grade their papers and occasionally teach them lessons when they choose not to listen to their teacher. I get along with all age groups, from newborns to teenagers. I have the energy and patience babies and toddlers need, but I also have my own strategies on how to deal with teenagers. I plan to major in sociology and become a social worker because I love kids and I believe in making sure they are all healthy, happy and safe.
