I know looking for a reliable child care provider can be stressful and you want to find someone safe, reliable, and fun. Let me put your mind at ease. I currently work at the Kempe Center (located on the Anschutz Medical Campus, CU School of Medicine). I am a professional research assistant for the Child Trauma Program; I work to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect. However, as a recent college graduate I am unsure what to do with my free evenings now that they are not being consumed with homework or studying. I have a deep passion for kids and would love to help out your family with occasional weekend or evening childcare.
I have ample experience caring for children including: starting my own child care business, teaching English in India to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Hindi students, teaching students to be fiscally responsible at Rural Young Americans Center for Financial Education, providing full time care for 3 Polish children as an au-pair in Poland and Greece, and volunteering at an orphanage in Tijuana, and volunteering at Adoption Alliance. Additionally I have a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Denver in Psychology, concentrating in cognitive neuroscience with minors in business and biology. I have taken the relative courses of child development, child psychopathology, motivation and emotion, and social psychology. Furthermore I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a clean driving record and safe reliable transportation.
I genuinely love children and it is my future career goal to become and international adoption manager combining my love for children and my passion for traveling. Thank you for looking at my profile.
