I'm the oldest of four children, so have had experience with kids ever since I can remember, obviously starting with my siblings. I started babysitting at the young age of about 10 and it all worked out great. During middle school and part of high school, we moved to the country of Zambia as missionaries, so I wasn't able to do much babysitting there, due to work visas, but we did help out with the orphanage down the street from us. After coming back, I began actively working in our churches nurseries, and was on the nursery committee starting my sophomore year of college. I have worked for MCCSC as a playground supervisor, the YMCA as a summer camp counselor, my church as a Special Services Childcare Coordinator, and nannied two summers ago for two boys ages, 6 and 9, with babysitting and such in between. I feel comfortable caring for children of many ages, from infants through teens, and can watch many children at a time.
