I have worked with children on and off for over 20+ years. I have one year of child development education from St. Louis Community College and I have recently achieved a bachelor's degree in social science from Ashford University out of Clinton, Iowa. I have worked for many daycare and preschool centers and have worked as a nanny for a couple with two children under the age of five for three years. I believe that our children's care and education is a key to everyone's future. Through my work with children and those who work with children I have found a lack of understanding from others in dealing with little ones. I feel I understand children because of my experience and age. In addition, I have a 10-year-old daughter who has taught me a great deal about children, their development and feelings. If hired for a position working with children, I feel my employer would not be disappointed in my abilities or reliability.
