I have two grown daughters. I babysat in high school for different people in my neighborhood. I sat for a couple that needed after-school care for a 10 year old boy and a 12 year old girl for a couple of years. I had my first daughter in '89. I took turns watching neighbors' kids so moms could run errands. I am very involved in PTA at schools; also, chaperoning field trips, class parties. I watched a 1 year old next door for a year while parents worked late on Thursday evenings. I picked her up from daycare, got her home, made sure she was fed, changed, and ready for bed. I played and read to her. I will interact with your children. I will play with them, help with homework, etc. I love being a mom and around children. I feel this is a natural progression for me since I will be facing an empty nest soon. I am also child and infant CPR certified.
