Most recently, the last year and a half, I have been a Nanny to a family of five children. Currently ages 3 to 9. Not only am I responsible for getting all the children to their different private excelled private schools, but also to their many activities. They average 3 - 4 sports each. I also make sure that they are fed, homework is accomplished and corrected and they are ready to go. Sometimes, I even drop them off to the various activities. The 3-year-old, I work on colors, shapes and reading. We do puzzles, memory games and work on hand eye coordination. I make sure she gets in her daily exercise and stimulation. The 4-year-old, will be going into Kindergarten and can read, write, count past 100, and is now working on subtraction. He is in Hockey and Baseball, but we usually go to the park, play Baseball at home and take daily walks. As you can see, this family has high expectations of their children and are very activity oriented. During the summer, the children are not only in several sports, but are required to do approximately two hours of homework a day. To say the least, this job has been a very challenging job, but a very rewarding one! Ask me about the extra care I gave.
