Hello my name is Lisa. I am 27 years old and live in the Northwest suburbs. I have had childcare experience for the last 14 years. I have a BA in psychology and currently finishing my MA in marriage and family therapy. I have worked as a babysitter, a nanny, a camp counselor, a mentor to at risk children, and also a counselor for the past year and currently. As a mentor, I would work with the children, their family, and their therapist doing activities with the child that was cohesive with their therapy goals. As a counseling intern I have been trained in different therapies to help better children and family situations. I am used to working with children of all ages with a wide variety of different stories. Because I am trained in family therapy, I am very understanding and patient with all children and their families. This is work I enjoy very much. I enjoy doing any and all activities that are required. I am looking forward to learning and helping as much as I can.
