I have been working with kids for at least five years now, I attended a day care at 5 years old and shortly started helping out the women working there taking care of the children. The owner then took me as a baby sitter when I was about 8 and I would watch her children almost every single weekend if not more. When I was 15 I became a teacher's aide at this day care working there every day after school, then when I turned 18 I became a teacher in charge of my own class and during the summer helped to run preschool time. I am now going to school to become a teacher because I love working with children and really couldn't see myself doing anything different then something that involves them. This past year I have been working in a special education classroom with children with a variety of disabilities and decided that I would like to become a special education teacher or do something with children with special needs.
