I really enjoy working with children. I love helping children master things they are trying to achieve; to see their faces filled with happiness is priceless. I have worked with children of all ages since I was about 16 years old. In the past, I have done household chores, bed/bath time, made meals, taken children to sports or other activities, stayed overnight, helped with homework, helped with potty training, and watched up to eight children at once. My one pet peeve about babysitters is many try to stick children in front of the television all day! I want to spend time with the kids and have fun with them. I want to teach them things such as manners or how to handle other kids stealing their toys. I would love to be an additional positive influence on them; not just a standby watcher.

My average hourly rate varies with the amount of children I watch. I typically charge five dollars a kid per one hour. For example, if a couple has two children, then it would be 10 dollars an hour.
