I have experience from teaching alongside one of my high school teachers, babysitting a family friend, watching over a 10-year-old after school during my senior year of high school, participating in a mission's trip to Alaska, volunteering in my church's vacation bible school for the last 7 years, babysitting for a 3-year-old and her 1-year-old brother for a month during the summer of 2011, followed by another babysitting job where I watched over 6-year-old twins for the remainder of the summer.

Moreover, this past summer, I had the pleasure of occasionally babysitting a 3-year-old girl for expecting parents, as well as for a family of a sixth grader and his younger sister and handicapped little brother, both families who I genuinely enjoyed watching over and had the privilege of watching over and getting to know. My most committed position during the past summer was being a nanny to 3-year-old twin boys and their 9-year-old sister. The experience was both rewarding and exhausting, but I wouldn't imagine it any other way. I really, truly enjoy babysitting because I love getting to know the kids and see them as if they were my own siblings, and in addition, I feel truly blessed to have the privilege of watching them grow up and being kids.
