I worked four years as a babysitter/part-time nanny. At New Life Fellowship in Council Bluffs, I have worked in the nursery (newborns to 4 years old) for three years, taught two years of the preschool to first grade class in vacation Bible school, and substituted for elementary Sunday school class when needed. I have also worked this past year at Grace United Methodist Church in Sioux City, teaching the K-6 grade class. My responsibilities are/were planning activities, entertaining the children, incorporating lessons (life lessons and religious lessons), changing diapers, preparing snacks, cleaning and organizing, contacting parents when needed, keeping the kids under control, and making sure they always have a safe, fun time.
