I recently graduated from graduate school and now work in the public schools with children and adolescents on a daily basis. I also spend quite a bit of time talking with parents so open communication with families comes naturally. Prior to graduate school, I worked part-time as an assistant teacher in a pre-K classroom, I volunteered at a daycare in the 2 and 3-year-old classrooms, spent a summer as a day camp counselor with elementary aged kids, and babysat for numerous families, often until their children outgrew the need for a sitter!
