I am a college graduate. I currently work as a 5th and 6th grade teacher. The school I work at is an alternative school for special education students who were struggling to succeed in their regular schools, and who also had behavioral issues in class. I love my job, but I am looking to move to Boston for new experiences and to be closer to friends and family. My main goal is to eventually secure a teaching job in Boston. Since I am not certified in MA, I wanted to search for jobs where I can continue to do what I am passionate about, which is to help children learn and grow! I worked as a back up nanny for an agency in Philadelphia before I got my teaching job, providing child care to various families and children ranging in ages from 10 months - 7 years old. Many families requested my service on multiple occasions because of my enthusiasm and love for learning and fun! I do not have a place in Boston yet, so if I do connect with a family I am flexible on where I find an apartment to have an easy and efficient commute to work! I also do have an apartment that I am able to stay at until I find an apartment if a job needs to start immediately. I look forward to becoming part of the right family and participate in your child's development and growth!
