I really love children and they have always been a passion in my life. I am one of 27 grandchildren, so family has always been really important to me and being one of the older grandchildren I have always had a role in taking care of my younger cousins. I have babysat since I was 12 years old and I also worked for 3 years at various camps for the Fort Thomas Recreation Department. Five weeks in the summer, I would work for Tiny Tots camp with 3-6-year-olds doing crafts, singing songs, playing games, taking hikes, playing at the park, and just having a lot of fun. I also worked some of the outdoor sports camps like track, volleyball, tennis, etc. For the last 6 years, I have also volunteered in the Kid's Club at my home church in Cincinnati, Ohio. I mainly volunteer in the 1-year-old room, but I have also snuggled and loved on kids in the nursery and up to elementary aged. I am CPR and First Aid certified and feel very comfortable and confident with the responsibility of keeping a child safe while also helping them to have fun and grow. I also have a cousin with autism and some cousins with speech problems who I have cared for before, and I feel very comfortable with them.
