My senior year of high school I volunteered at Parkbrook Elementary School four days a week, two plus hours a day. In the kindergarten classroom I helped the teacher get art projects together, worked one on one with some students, and worked in small groups. Since then I have done some volunteering in a second grade classroom. I helped students with math and reading, helped them with their ginger bread houses, and I have gone on field trips to the science museum and to the play "Peef".
