Hi families,
I have been working with children for over 10 years. My experiences range from working with and shadowing teachers at a day camp and school, to volunteering in a child development center. I have been a sitter since age 13. I started my nanny career in 2007, part-time, with an amazing 5-month-old baby boy. I then worked full-time with fraternal twin infants and a their 5-year-old brother. Between schooling, I helped out a family friend that included a 2-year-old, an 8-year-old, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old, and a 30-year-old Autistic man. During that time, I also cared for a 4-year-old and an 18-month-old part-time during the evenings. Finally, I landed a full-time household manager position with a wonderful family of three including, an 11-year-old, a 15-year-old, and the third child, dad!
About Your Potential Caregiver:
I am consistently responsible, reliable, and dependable. I have a ton of energy that meshes well with my infectious, positive attitude. I consider myself a career nanny because of my passion for care-giving and children, and I am in love with what I do. On the job, I enjoy being as active as possible with your kids (i.e. dancing, singing, being goofy, acting silly, laughing, reading, creating arts and crafts, playing sports and games, making up games and learning activities, going on numerous educational outings, and visiting parks.) Activities with infants generally include: strength training, gross and fine motor skills work, sensory development, and social skill building.
My Ideal Family: I am currently looking for a steady, full-time, long-term, live-out position. The main goal for this search is to find a wonderful family, in which I can grow with and become an extended part of. In my opinion, a successful fit requires mutual respect, understanding, and clear communication. Feel free to shoot me a message if you think I would be a great fit for your family!
