My name is Linda and I am the proud mother of five wonderful children, ages 26 to 15, two boys and three girls. My two oldest children are married, the two in the middle attend Weber State University, and my "baby" is 16, attending Davis High School. When my children were young, I successfully owned and operated a daycare service out of my home for approximately 10+ years. I cared for children between the ages of 6 months to 4 years and gave part time care to school age children as well. When my last child was born, I stopped to turn my full attention to my children. I enjoyed my daycare work very much, and loved attending to my own children as well. As the years have come and gone, my children have grown and developed into fine citizens who feel they no longer need my "full" attention! So for the past 4-6 years, I have been working at Lincoln Elementary, the first two years as a Title I tutor, and the last four as the Music Prep Teacher. Working with children from Kindergarten through 6th grade has been so much fun! However, I am ready to go back to centering my attention and love on just a few at a time, rather than over 200 hundred a day. I feel that our children are our most precious gifts and my hope is to continue to make a difference somewhere in a child's life. I prefer to provide care from my home, because even if she doesn't need my full attention (or at least want it!) I would like to be accessible for the few cares and needs of my very independent 16-year-old! I am a successful potty trainer, snack provider, healthy meal server, nurse, tutor, story reader, snuggler and listener! I can guarantee quality care to your little ones!
