My last job was in a Youth Center/daycare. I was the teacher's aide for Pre-k but worked with all ages 6 months-5 years old. I was first aid and CPR trained for this position. I was also exposed to giving medication and nebulizers for the children that required them. I am very familiar with food allergies and different diets as we had many different allergy restrictions and vegetarian's that were under our care. I also have 3 special needs nieces that I care for often. My oldest 5-year-old niece has breathing problems and ADHD. Her 2 sisters are 6 months old and one has numerous holes in her heart and the other one is fighting for her life with one heart surgery under her belt at a couple days old and another one quickly approaching. I have cared for all kinds of children I love what I do and feel very qualified. I am currently in college and dream of becoming a Certified Midwife.
