I love children! I have a lot of experience working with both infants and toddlers all the way up to school age children. My favorite age group to love and care for is the infant stage. I love to sing songs and read stories to them, and just love on them. I have loved babies ever since I have been a young child myself and have always wanted to be a full time wife and mother like my own mom was. I come from a large family; I am the youngest child of 12 and have 35+ nieces and nephews. Before getting married six years ago, I had the privilege of helping my sisters and brothers when they started their families. I would love to help you care for and love your child(ren). EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
09/1996-03/1997 Volunteer Nanny
Served as volunteer in all aspects of the children's home, including: cooking and baking for the children, feeding them at meal times, playing with and reading story books to the children, giving them their evening baths, doing the children's laundry, etc.
03/1997-10/1997 Nanny
Took care of the son, from the time he woke up in the morning until parents got home from work in the evening. I made him breakfast, got him dressed for the day, played with him, gave him his morning and afternoon naps, fed him lunch, went on lots of walks, played at the local park, etc.
08/1998-05/2000 Elementary School Teacher, Taught all school subjects for grades 3-6, graded all papers, supervised all recess times, read to the students, had the students read in class, created art assignments, assisted in Music classes, learned how to manage a classroom etc.
08/2001-11/2002 Volunteer Nanny
Served as nanny for babies and children whose mothers were in prison. I fed the children breakfast, lunch, and supper, got them dressed, played with them, read them story books, played outside with them if possible, changed lots of diapers, took the children in to visit mommy in prison, took them on bike rides and wagon rides, etc.
