Liliane Diane D.

Liliane is kind, calm, reliable, responsive, motivated, hard-working, and thoughtful - everything you could hope for in a person to whom you entrust your most precious responsibility. She understands the needs and desires of children of varying ages and nurtures and loves them as they each need. Both of our children are, and - importantly - feel, safe and secure with her. They love when she comes, and are sad when she goes. While we hired Liliane as a nanny for our infant son, she quickly became our family nanny, taking the best care of Mommy, Daddy, 3-year-old big sister, and the two cats! In addition to caring for our son 50 hours per week, she routinely babysits for us on the weekends and has watched the kids overnight when we went out of town. She does our laundry, cleans the house, and will make dinner, if we want. Liliane always gets done whatever needs doing, and often takes the initiative to go the extra step. For instance, once when she watched our cats while we were on an extended vacation, she knew we were returning to town very late in the evening. She took it upon herself to make us dinner and have it sitting out for us upon our return. It was incredibly thoughtful. But that is who Liliane is. One of Liliane's qualities I appreciate the most is her ability to integrate so seamlessly and effectively into our family to take care of us, but without imposing or overstepping any bounds. She is a delight to be around. In short, we can't say enough good things about Liliane and are making it our mission to find her a wonderful family to work for after our son joins our daughter in school full time at the end of April.
