Each child has a unique and individual nature, worthy of respect, nurture and celebration. I believe that children are natural learners who gain knowledge by doing and communicating -- that is why I always plan active and engaging experiences for your child. It is my goal to facilitate experiences that promote children's natural curiosity to actively learn. I have been a preschool teacher, nanny and mother for more than 15 years, and I am a former Girl Scout troop leader. Reading, music and movement, science exploration, and play are important parts of a child's day. I believe it is critical to create a care plan with a family and to follow all parent's rules and requests. I have current CPR and First Aid and fingerprint/background clearance. For parents of young children, you will receive a log of your child's feeding, sleeping, diapering and learning activities.
