As far as age goes, I have watched children from Newborn to 15-16 years old. I will be very honest when I say that the majority of the work I have done has been through family or close family friends. However, my experience is not limited to just that.

Starting at age 12, I did regular babysitting on weekends for family. I continue to do that to this day and it can involve watching as many as 8 or 9 kids at one time.

When I was in Junior High, my mother started an in-home daycare that I assisted her with over the summers and on days off of school until I was a Sophomore in high school.

For several years, I worked in our church's nursery; mostly with children 6 months to about 2 or 3 years old. I would say I did that for about 2 years or so.

During the summer of 2008, right before I went to college, I was a nanny for three children ages 6, 2 and 1 at the time. I was with them Monday through Friday from about 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. or so.

The last bit of experience not listed would be from September 2010 - March 2011. I moved to Highlands Ranch, CO with the family I just mentioned before to watch their 3 children so that they didn't have to throw their kids into daycare as well as become acclimated to a new environment. I was a live-in nanny and generally watched over them Monday through Friday from about 7:30 a.m. untill around 5:30 p.m. I also watched them while their parents would go out of town for the weekend or date nights.
