I ran a 24 hr 7 day a week child care service in my home in Albuquerque New Mexico for 7 years. I cared for children age 6 week to 12 years. My clients loved me because I was always available and was willing to go the extra mile for their children. I was the only home care provider within a 10 mile radius that provided overnight services despite the fact we lived a mile from INTEL corp, the 24 hr post office, J. C. Penny call center, Victoria secret, police and fire department and casinos that all ran 24 hrs a day in a city of a million people. I changed careers after homeschooling my older son kindergarten through grade 3 by the time he was 6 years old. I am now a certified elementary teacher and reading specialist. I have taught preschool to GED. I love children of all ages. I love seeing the sparkle in a child's eye. I would like to return to childcare to enjoy the beginnings again.
