Hello My name is Leslie.
I love, care for and teach children as they were my own. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Preschool Directing. I have a 15+ year background in Early Childhood settings and nanny care.
I have my certification in pediatric CPR/First Aid, TB, a clean driving record and trust line clearances.
My Early Childhood experiences include caring for infants, toddlers, preschool age and school age, at different stages of development. I ran a preschool, did childcare out of my home for four years. I was caring for and educating children at three different stages of development. My past preschool/childcare work experience included the introduction of a variety of children's developmental learning skills including ABCs, 123s, colors, numbers, shapes, animals, introductory Spanish and sign language, use of good manners, the world around us, music, circle time, story time, pretend play, outdoor play, lots of hugs, nap times and meal preparation. My past nanny work experience included the above experiences, plus transportation to and from children's activities, parks, school and appointments, bathing, dressing, light housework related to the children, laundry, putting toys away and communication with parents regarding children's daily activities.
I have cared for twins, triplets and special needs children as well. I enjoy being actively involved in children's daily activities while creating a safe, loving and educational environment for them to learn and grow in. I believe that the quality of one's childhood predicts the quality of one's future.
I like to have fun while maintaining professionalism. I am straight forward and respectful with the families that I work with. Especially with regards to their children's daily activities and childcare needs.
I am currently available for occasional evenings, weekends and overnight childcare.
