I began babysitting when I was 13 years old. The children I babysat the most often were 8 months and 2 yrs old when I began to care for them. I usually babysat for them at least twice a week, if not more often. I attended summer camps as a child and set a personal goal for myself to become a camp counselor. At the age of 15, this goal became a reality and I worked for a Girl Scout camp up until July of this past summer. It was the best learning experience with children I could of ever asked for. Working with children in outdoor environments is a very rewarding experience. I am currently majoring in Elementary Education at the University of Montevallo. I knew from a young age working with children was going to become a passion of mine.
