I have worked with children of various ages in many different settings. I coached children ages 3-10 in soccer for 2 years while in high school. I also volunteered in my high school's preschool program as a teaching assistant for 2 years. More recently, I started volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters, where I mentor, tutor and play with an underprivileged second grade boy. I am currently interning for a non-profit organization called Sankofa Kuumba, where I work in an after school program at an elementary school, helping the children with their school work and playing with them. On a more personal level, I have babysat my younger cousins and sister since I was 14.
