I have enjoyed caring for and educating children professionally for over 20 years. The majority of my experience has been in K-8 classrooms, and since 'retiring' from public education a few years ago, I have continued to enjoy spending time with children as an art instructor, as a substitute teacher, and recently as a grandmother.

I have always related to each child as a "whole child," meeting their emotional and social needs alongside their academic needs. I have also understood the importance of working as a team with children and their parents.

Alongside childcare/education, I appreciate having the opportunity to share my creativity, as an artist and creative thinker, as well as my love of nature, of good books, and sharing my sense of fun with kids of all ages. Following your guidelines, I will provide a safe and nurturing environment, and an enjoyable experience for your child or children. I am happy to provide guidance with homework or school projects, to prepare snacks or light meals for children, as well some light housekeeping (if the children's needs have been provided for).

Please know that your peace of mind and your child's or children's happiness and well being will be my priorities during the time which I share with your family.
