Leonor (who has been coined Daisy by my 2 year old daughter) is such a Godsend to us! She has as much energy as my 2 year old! She is 100% reliable, always on time and is very flexible. My daughter gets so excited when she hears Daisy is coming to play with her. When she takes her to a parent tot class she is completely engaged with her (she doesn't just sit on the sidelines talking on her phone like many nannies do). In addition, she speaks fluent Spanish which is a total bonus. We asked her to talk in both English and Spanish which she does and our daughter is picking it up nicely. When she is at our house, her number priority is our daughter. She is also great with pets. We have two dogs and they are very picky about people. They have loved Leonor from the start. Leonor's teaching backing is a big bonus too. She is creative and imaginative and you can tell when she is with my daughter, she is having as much fun as she is. She understands child development and knows how to bring out the best in children. You can tell her passion is working with children. I wish I would have met her much sooner! We are moving to the burbs in the spring and in the short time we have known her, she will be very, very hard to leave and it will extremely difficult to find someone as good as her. I am sure we will keep and touch with her and I won't doubt that Leonor will come out for her birthday party in October. Taking care of kids, is more than just a job to her, you are able to form a real lasting connection.
