I am a 33-year-old stay-at-home-mom of 2 wonderful girls, ages 7 and 5. I relate well to those families seeking child care because up until the summer of 2009, I too was a full-time working parent searching in vain for the best care possible for my precious children. This was a huge change but well worth it. My goal is not only to care for my own, but to help other families and provide a safe and loving environment for other children.
I reside in a quiet neighborhood and have a large fenced-in backyard, complete with a swing set and other great outdoor toys. I provide meals and snacks, which are included in my fees. I do have 3 small animals, 2 cats and 1 dog, who are all over 11 years old and very friendly. My most recent childcare situation is this: I have a 4-year-old boy who I have cared for since August basically full-time and an 18-month-old girl I have cared for since she was 4 months old. I was recently informed that her last day with me will be February 3rd because her parents would like to start her in a daycare program. I therefore have an immediate need to fill at least one spot full-time. Because I have my own 2 children and must transport to and from school (for mine as well as the boy), I am unable to take any more than 2 children and request no infants. I may also be able to provide transportation to and from school, if needed for new children, depending on the situation.
