I have been working with children for the past 7 years. I started at the age of 13 working as a mothers helper for the family across the street. During high school I was a nanny for a family with four children one day a week and a babysitter for a couple other families in the area. I have worked as a camp counselor for the past two summers. This initiated working with children ages 4 and 5 everyday of the week from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. I was responsible for up to 18 children at a time and worked with a lead teacher to make sure they where having a great camp experience. I am currently enrolled at Sonoma State getting a BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have taking early childhood courses along with pre-credential classes. I currently work for a family with two girls, ages 2 and 4, every Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. I am hoping to find another family who I can grow to love jut as much and work more hours during the summer and perhaps into the school year.
