I am a highly educated and confident woman seeking employment as a Nanny/Personal Assistant/Household Manager. I am very gifted in working with children, as I possess a nurturing and calm spirit, and I have extensive experience working with all ages and different cultures in a variety of settings. I am a licensed and credentialed School Counselor with a master's degree in Counselor Education; I have worked with children in a school setting from ages 3 to 18. I also have experience as a nanny for four different families in both Minnesota and California dating back to 1998 for children ranging in age from 5 to 16, including twins. Additionally, I have extensively helped my sister with her young children (newborn, 2.5 years, and 5 years old). I am highly dependable and have a clean driving record; I go the extra mile to ensure the safety of children. As a first-generation college graduate, I enjoy being a positive role model for kids; it brings me joy to see them excel in both academics and extra-curricular activities. I am certified in Expressive Arts Therapy, and I have an extensive toolbox of activities I enjoy doing with children, and they vary according to age and use. Examples include coloring as a form of meditation for kids, deep breathing techniques, music therapy, art therapy, storytelling, aromatherapy, guided imagery, and yoga for kids. Additionally, I am a Certified Nutrition Educator and take pride in preparing and cooking healthy and nutritious meals for children. I have created a community education program that is tailored for busy moms; it is focused on children's nutrition and includes healthy recipes, tips, and additional resources. I also have competent administrative and marketing skills and experience; therefore, I would be happy to professionally assist families with various projects.

I currently serve on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit that is working to bring education, food, and psycho-social and emotional support to orphans in Africa. I have volunteered in both Kenya and Zambia and developed and implemented a creative arts program for orphans who lost both of their parents (primarily due to HIV/AIDS). I also have Spanish language skills, as I received a highly competitive scholarship to represent the United States while studying Spanish in Panama.
