“ I grew up babysitting my neighbors and cousins back home all the way through high school. I continued babysitting a few families on occasion in college. I tutored children in middle school for a few years as well. I ran the sports camp at my church for about two years and taught kids the skills of different sports. Over many mission trips, I have worked with underprivileged children and children of minorities....

I grew up babysitting my neighbors and cousins back home all the way through high school. I continued babysitting a few families on occasion in college. I tutored children in middle school for a few years as well. I ran the sports camp at my church for about two years and taught kids the skills of different sports. Over many mission trips, I have worked with underprivileged children and children of minorities. I worked at the YMCA where I provided activities for children before and after camp. I have a Bachelors Degree in Child Development through the University of Missouri. Throughout college I helped run a before and after school program at elementary schools throughout Columbia, MO. I have experience working with children in hospital settings to distract them briefly from the stresses of the hospital. Over the years, I have worked with children one-on-one and in groups. Throughout my experience these children have taught me so much. Nothing thrills me more than seeing children develop and discover new things. I love the simplicity of childhood and I encourage children to embrace their youth. I have learned to be a fun-loving, positive role model for children.
