I have 2 years of experience working directly with children ages 3-5, through a preschool center provided by the high school I attended. I have also taken a semester course in early childhood development. In the preschool program I worked with a group of my peers to create and teach lessons to the children. We were also responsible for the children's food and toileting needs, keeping them safe and happy, reading to them, spending one on one time with them, cleaning up after them and keeping their play and classroom areas clean, etc. I also have 10 months of experience caring for 2-year-old children, and 4 months of caring for a newborn. I have always loved working with children, I have a great amount of patience and understanding for them. I love being able to teach them new things and help them grow into the people they will become.
