I've been working with kids in various jobs since I started babysitting at 12 years old. I've worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, private tutor, small group instructor, and elementary school teacher. After being laid off from my teaching job due to budget cuts, I spent the 2010-2011 year as a TEFL teacher in the Czech Republic. During the 2011-2012 school year, I worked as a K-8 substitute teacher and part-time babysitter on weeknights and weekends. For the 2012 summer, I worked full-time at a camp. I am currently working as an AmeriCorps volunteer at a K-8 school tutoring, running after-school programs, and assisting with community events. I am available for weekend babysitting, and occasional weekday evenings.
