I am 23 years old and I've been babysitting since I was very young. I worked with an elementary school for three years coordinating and supervising indoor and outdoor events for children in grades 2 -6. I helped take them on small fields trips as well as coordinate small interest based groups in the care program such as Book Club.
When I was 19, I spent 6 months as a nanny for a 15-month-old little boy. We spent our time inside playing and I would prepare a small mid-day snack for him as well as serve him lunch.
I also spent time babysitting two girls, ages 6 and 8. We would take small trips to the library and also take trips to a neighborhood pool. I would spend many nights with them preparing dinner and getting them ready for bed, which included bath time and reading books.
